Stephen is the architect of the Helion strategy, leading research, portfolio construction, and execution. With extensive expertise in options and macro frameworks, he developed Helion’s investment engine from the ground up.
As Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Helion Strategies LLC—the Manager of the Helion funds—He oversees all trading, system design, and risk governance. He plays a central role in Helion’s strategic vision and investment decision-making, helping deliver institutional-grade solutions to institutional, high-net-worth, and family office clients across varying market conditions. Stephen also serves as CIO at Atlas Investment Management and has overseen substantial AUM across advisory and institutional mandates.
He earned an MBA and an MS in Investment Management and Financial Analysis from Creighton University, a BA in Political Science from Utah Valley University, and holds a Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative license.

As a fund advisor, he plays an active role in guiding the firm’s outreach and positioning, helping deliver the Horizon strategy to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across advisory and family office channels. Chace is CEO and an Advisor at Atlas Investment Management.
Chace earned an BS in Financial Planning from Utah Valley University, holds the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation, and is a Series 65 Licensed Investment Advisor Representative.
