Stephen is the architect of the Helion strategy, leading research, portfolio construction, and execution. With extensive expertise in options and macro frameworks, he developed Helion's investment engine from the ground up.
As Managing Partner and CIO, Stephen manages all trading, system design, and risk governance. He plays a key role in Helion's strategic vision and investment decisions, helping to deliver institutional-grade solutions to institutional, high-net-worth, and family office clients across different market conditions. Stephen is also CIO at Atlas Investment Management and has managed hundreds of millions in AUM.
Stephen earned an MBA and an MS in Investment Management and Financial Analysis from Creighton University, a BA in Political Science from Utah Valley University, and is a Series 65 Licensed Investment Advisor Representative.

As a fund advisor, he plays an active role in guiding the firm’s outreach and positioning, helping deliver the Horizon strategy to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across advisory and family office channels. Chace is CEO and an Advisor at Atlas Investment Management.
